ROD DILLER - Fellowship/OutreachRod has been a licensed residential realtor since 2001, focusing on the Edmond and Oakdale markets, but happily serving the entire Oklahoma City metro area. Rod is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University (BA, MBA). He and his wife Marissa were married in 1998 and are blessed with three daughters – Jaylen, Malia, and Lainey – all students at Oakdale School. Marissa is a nursing professor at Oklahoma Christian University. Rod loves watching and playing most sports, but has a special affinity for playing soccer and watching Liverpool FC and the English Premier League. His focus of service at Oakdale is benevolence for the church family and community.
JONATHAN HEUSEL - Building & Logistics Jonathan is president of PATH Engineering, Design & Urbanism, PLLC, a consulting engineering firm in Edmond. He is a licensed professional engineer with more than 20 years of civil and transportation design experience. Jonathan and his wife, DeShawn, met at Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas in 1995 and married in 1997. They have three children: Zane, Grace, and Walker. Their hobbies include hiking, sailing, vacationing, playing golf and basketball, and supporting the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jonathan’s civic involvement includes serving as president for the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club. He was raised in Booker, Texas, then went on to earn bachelor’s degrees from Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech University. His focus at Oakdale is building and logistics, and he’s excited about the opportunities our new building will bring to the community.
JAMIE KOCH - Family InvolvementJamie is a physician with Affiliated Anesthesiologists LLC. He practices at Mercy Hospital and the Oklahoma Spine Hospital. Prior to medical school, Jamie spent five years as a Certified Pubic Accountant and earned his undergraduate and medical doctorate at the University of Oklahoma. Jamie married his high school sweetheart, Susan, in 1997. They have two daughters, Katy and Allison. In his free time, Jamie enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends. His areas of responsibility include youth ministry support and helping families at Oakdale connect and serve.
WES McKINZIE - WorshipWes is an instructor of business and sports management at Oklahoma Christian University and sings bass for the Christian Music Hall of Fame group Acappella. After touring with Acappella Vocal Band (AVB) from 1988 to 1995, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian in 1998 and his master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. He is pursuing his doctorate of business administration at Grand Canyon University. Wes and his wife of 25 years, Delisa, have two children: Mikayla and Schad. Wes loves hanging out with his family and watching his beloved San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Longhorns. His areas of responsibility at Oakdale include coordinating worship services and managing the public website.
JOHN MITCHELL - Communication John Mitchell is a Certified Financial Planner, serving as the financial advisor for a select number of individuals and families. His mission is to help his clients identify and align their personal values with their financial decisions and goals. John was awarded his CFP® certification by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. John lives in Edmond with his wife Kelli, and their three children, Alex, Maggie, and Jack. In his free time, John is a cyclist and a black belt/instructor in Taekwondo. His areas of responsibility at Oakdale include coordinating the communication needs of the congregation, teaching adult classes, and leading small groups.
JAMES MORRIS - FinanceJames Morris is the regional retail manager for Bank SNB. He has served in various capacities in more than 30 years in the banking industry, including director of consumer banking operations and director of contact center operations. James has been involved with many community organizations across Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 41. James has a bachelor of science degree in organizational administration from Oklahoma State University and a degree in banking and finance from Oklahoma City Community College. He and his wife Dana have two daughters. They love to travel, hike, and go to all types of live music events. He is a fan of the OSU Cowboys and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
PAIGE BAILEY - Children’s Ministry Co-Director (Preschool)Paige is a stay-at-home mom and a Sonshine School teacher at Memorial Road Church of Christ. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2010 with a degree in family studies/child development. Paige married her husband Jacob in 2009; they have two lovely children – Mason and Jocelyn. In her spare time, Paige likes to attend Body and Soul classes, read, and soak up time with her family. Her emphasis in Children’s Ministry is coordinating the nursery through pre-kindergarten classes.
SHELBY IRWIN - Children’s Ministry Co-Director (Elementary)Shelby is a Texas-born Oklahoma transplant. She has an early childhood education degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and has taught preschool and kindergarten. She has been married to her husband Corey since 2009 and now stays home to run their farm and care for their children, Brighton and Brooks. Shelby also runs a homeschooling co-op for preschoolers and kindergarteners. She loves raising ducklings and cheering for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Shelby coordinates Bible classes and events for Oakdale’s first through sixth grade children.
KATHY LOOMIS - Curriculum CoordinatorKathy originally is from St. Charles, Missouri, and has lived in Oklahoma with her husband Rick since 1980. She and Rick have three children: Jeni, who lives in Sachse, Texas, with her husband Dustin and little daughter Ava; Greg, who lives in Edmond; and Evan, a student at Oklahoma Christian University. Kathy previously worked at The Christian Chronicle and helped develop children’s curriculum at Memorial Road Church of Christ. She has been a valued leader in Children’s Ministry since coming to Oakdale and now serves as our Curriculum Coordinator.
